It looks like the Queen of Disengaging aka Meredith Marks is toying with the idea of permanently disengaging from Bravo's hit reality show 'Real Housewives of salt Lake City'. This shocking news came to light when the show's executive producer/ host of 'Watch What Happens Live' Andy Cohen took to his Twitter urging fans to send across some questions they wanted answers to from Meredith and Bridget Everett, as they would be appearing on the talk show soon.

One of the fans seized the opportunity and sent a question directed at Meredith wondering why she was on the reality show when it came off as if she hated it. The fan wrote, "Question is for Meredith, why are you still on the show? It seems like you hate it." The 'RHOSLC' star didn't wait for Andy to ask her the question on his talk show, but instead directly answered the fan herself by saying she should probably quit since her co-stars were "spreading lies" about her family and her. Meredith replied, "Good question. I should quit since most of the women enjoy spreading lies about me and my family. Not a problem."

Is Meredith Marks leaving 'RHOSLC'?

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Meredith hasn't had the easiest time on the Bravo show. While season 1 focussed on her marital issues and rumors of her cheating on her husband Seth Marks, the second season proved to be way wilder than the housewife anticipated. As the tension between Jen Shah and Meredith escalated with each passing episode, her fellow housewives used this opportunity to spread rumors and speculate about her personal life. From Whitney Rose and Heather Gay wondering if Meredith played a role in the FBI's investigation of Jen, to Meredith's best friend Lisa Barlow and Jen accusing the housewife of having several men in her life. In an earlier episode Jen declared that Meredith had 10 boyfriends, while the preview for the upcoming episode revealed a very angry Lisa labeling her best friend "whore" and claimed that she slept with "half of New York'. The previous episode also featured Meredith learning from Lisa that the ladies were speculating if she was really at her father's funeral when she decided to skip traveling with the ladies to Vail.

All these incidents clearly seem to have set off Meredith. But will these rumors and allegations prompt her to quit the show? Only time will tell. While Meredith is weighing in on her future with 'RHOSLC', fans however had some very strong reactions to the housewife's response. While some fans begged the housewife not to leave, others felt that the show would be better off without her.

A fan replied to the housewife's tweet with, "Stay mer, you are needed. You are starting to look like one of the noble ones, and that is hard to find with this group. It is good when you defend yourself when Whitney talks behind everyone's back with pettiness. Stand firm." Another fan wrote, "STOP NO DONT QUIT." "I can't say I blame you. You were accused of being in cahoots with the FBI and for faking a funeral for your father all in one episode. Not to mention what your former "friend" says about you next week. But just know lots of us love you and would HATE to see you go. Please stay!!," requested a fan.

Other fans felt that it was time for Meredith to leave the show. A fan shared, "You're great to watch but this just looks like another threat to disengage albeit permanently. Kind of tired of that and I'll miss you but look forward to the next housewife that engages, lol." Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "No no, you should quit because you choose to “disengage” 95 percent of the time. What’s the point?" "Guys let Meredith go - it’s hard to watch someone be so miserable to be on a show that is handing her delicious drama that she refuses to engage with. She’s too normal! Meredith it’s a good thing for you, not for viewers.," added a fan.
