Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' may have brought Meredith Marks closer to her husband Seth Marks, but it definitely seems to have drawn a wedge in her decade-long friendship with co-star Lisa Barlow. The premiere season of 'RHOSLC' saw fans loving the strong bond that the two housewives shared with each other.

But by the end of the season, things began going downhill between the two best friends as Lisa began rallying for Jen Shah, who shares a bad relationship with Meredith. Jen not only went around gossiping about Meredith's marriage with other housewives but also went on a social-media rampage against Meredith's son- Brooks Marks. This left Meredith deeply hurt and fuming at Jen. So, when her best friend Lisa began siding with Jen, the housewife was obviously not pleased. On the premiere episode of 'RHOSLC' Season 2, Meredith expressed her concerns and displeasure over Lisa's new friendship with Jen. Things got pretty heated as Lisa continued to strongly defend Jen, the duo's friendship appeared to be hanging by a thin thread by the end of the episode.

Are Lisa and Meredith still friends?

Meredith couldn't understand why Lisa was blindly defending someone who caused such immense pain to her family. While Lisa felt that it was hypocritical of Meredith to come after her friendship with Jen, while she is friends with Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. Heather, Whitney, and Lisa have been feuding since day one. Heather and Whitney feel that Lisa is dismissive towards them, while she feels that the cousins are constantly assassinating her character and are on a mission to make her look bad.

When fans watched Lisa and Meredith fight over Jen's friendship, they began to call out Lisa. Many began wondering why Lisa was defending Jen so strongly. A fan tweeted, "I like Meredith & I agree 100%. I hate that Lisa keeps making excuses for Jen’s weird a** behaviour. Throw her in PRISON with Jen! #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, "If I were Meredith, I would be side eyeing Lisa. How we friends of 10 years and going hard for someone who came for my family. Chile, #RHOSLC." "I’m not feeling Lisa’s push for Jen on @MeredithMarks0. Meredith was friends with someone Jen didn’t like so Jen went after her family. They don’t match up. It should be Jen owes Meredith and her family an apology and stop #RHOSLC," pointed out a fan.

Another fan shared, "Meredith, let Lisa go. She’s not a friend, baby. If she was y’all wouldn’t even have these conversations and she wouldn’t be Jen’s friend #RHOSLC." "Lisa should be ashamed that she's downplaying Meredith's feelings #rhoslc," added a fan. "Lisa is legitimately gaslighting Meredith right now #rhoslc," declared a fan. 

Fans were also amused with Lisa's comparison of her situation with Whitney and Heather to Meredith and Jen's situation. A fan commented, "Lisa keep trying to get correlation Jen and Meredith situation to her and Heather. Lisa is truly A DUNCE #RHOSLC." "Lisa trying to equate her situation with Heather to Meredith’s situation with Jen is ridiculous, but because of how self-centered she is, I get it. #RHOSLC," seconded a fan.

Despite their differences on the show, it looks like things between the best friends is going fine. The duo continues to follow each other on social media, and even leave comments on each others' pictures.
