BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: It’s no secret that celebrities and brand endorsements go hand in hand like BFFs. Be it a Hollywood A-lister or a reality TV star, and these days even Instagram influencers, everyone is promoting products or brands on their social media channels.

The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Kyle Richards is also pretty famous for her many brand endorsements. The Beverly Hills housewife often posts ads and paid partnerships for products on her social media handles, much to the chagrin of her followers. Even recently, the star took to Instagram to promote a “weekend sweepstake,” which was a paid partnership with a well-known brand that even has the Kardashians promoting their business. But Kyle’s post surely irked a few netizens who were annoyed at the alleged "pot stirrer" on ‘RHOBH’.

Promising a prize worth $20K, with paid accommodation in Beverly Hills, plus paid travel expenses and “glam included,” Kyle posted the details of the sweepstake along with the rules and regulations which required those partaking in it to follow the brand on the photo-sharing app as well as “everyone the brand followed.” She also asked her followers to “come back here & tell me (Kyle) the first thing you're buying if you win!”

Commenting on the Instagram post, a fan at first wondered if Kyle’s account was hacked and questioned, “Was she hacked??? 😂😂😂😂😂” While one chimed in with, “Ohhh the karshasians (Kardashians) got you.😩😂” A critic chastised the reality star, noting, “Stop this. This is low class for you. I really love you, but dont be a KIM. We dont care about this poor marketing ploy. Dont do it.” A social media user also wrote, “Oh not one of these scams.”

Another called out the ‘RHOBH’ housewife for wanting money, writing, “Do you need money that bad that you do these fake adds ???jesus Kyle.” While one reprimanded Kyle for letting brands scam her followers and wrote, “Kyle. Stop it. These scams aren’t worth the check. Nobody ever wins, and you’re basically allowing them to scam your followers, some who are dumb enough to believe this is even a real thing. Be better than this. To which someone responded, claiming that the reality star benefits from these “scams,” and penned, “Lol it’s so fake it makes me naush. She prob gets a free Birkin out of it. So what’s scamming a few thousand dumb followers as long as she gets a free Birkin lol. Typically love her but this bums me out.”
