The news of Dorit Kemsley's home invasion and armed robbery evoked a myriad of emotions amongst the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' stars. While the GG housewife Kyle Richards began crying hysterically and getting anxious about Dorit and her family's safety, Sutton Stracke on the other hand, reacted in a very nonchalant manner. Sutton joked about not having a gun to her head while she was busy trying to handle the many problems in her life.

Sutton's response didn't sit well with Kyle. The housewife began questioning if Sutton lacked empathy for their friend. Later when Kyle confronted Sutton about it, the housewife explained that she had a traumatic experience involving burglary and guns, which made her respond that way. Sutton elaborated by explaining how someone broke into her house when she was younger, and a few years later, her father committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun. So, Sutton didn't want to relive that trauma by engaging too much with Dorit's situation. Despite clearly explaining to Kyle everything, unfortunately, the OG housewife was still unhappy with Sutton's explanation and her response to Dorit's robbery news. So, she stirred the pot by telling all the ladies about it and declaring that Sutton was weird and lacked empathy.

Sutton later apologized to Dorit and buried the hatchet with her, but Kyle was still fuming over Sutton's lack of empathy. After watching Kyle continue to be mad at Sutton despite her fellow housewife's PTSD and trauma around guns, fans began slamming Kyle for being insensitive and trying to police Sutton's feelings. A fan tweeted, "Kyle rolling her eyes when Sutton explained when her father committed really has me bothered and uncomfortable. She wants Sutton to act empathetic but Kyle herself isnt. #RHOBH." "Kyle is so desperate to knock down Sutton that she’s starting to get sloppy w/her shady tricks. Purposely dismissing Sutton’s ptsd about guns & home invasions really shows Kyle’s true colors. #rhobh," wrote a fan. "Everyone reacts to trauma in their own way, Sutton obviously didn’t react in the most empathetic way… BUT KYLE going around and telling everyone behind her back is what is annoying me. A real friend doesn’t do that #RHOBH," pointed out a fan. "Kyle is angrier about what Sutton said than Dorit is. For the record, Sutton still has PTSD & it shouldn’t be minimized by a bunch of b***** mean girls. Especially Kyle, who’s suppose to be her friend. #rhobh," echoed a fan.

Another fan shared, "I need Kyle to realize people handle things differently and SUTTON may have slipped in what she said but sis has anxiety with guns as she's been thru a lot. Stop with the antics Kyle #RHOBH." "Time for Kyle to totally forget everything she’s done to others to put Sutton down meanwhile Sutton is making total sense about how she didn’t know how Dorit was handling things and what she wanted #RHOBH," expressed a fan. "Why is ok for Kyle to dramatically describe her break-in ordeal and be able to have feelings regarding it, but Sutton isn’t allowed to react in her own way to her trauma? Get over it Kyle!#RHOBH," declared a fan.
