Phaedra Parks to join 'RHOA' new and familiar faces
'RHOA' star Phaedra Parks will join some familiar faces in Season 16 including Drew Sidora. Her arrival announcement came soon after cast members Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore's departure. Additionally, she will meet some new faces, including Brittany Eady, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell, who are joining the Bravo show full-time.
Additionally, supermodel Cynthia Bailey, who was a Housewife from season 3 to 13 and led the initial cast of 'RHUGT,' is also set to return to the Bravo show as an official friend of the group. The Bravo show is currently filming and is expected to premiere in 2025.
Why was Phaedra Parks fired from 'RHOA'?
'RHOA' Season 16 star Phaedra Parks was fired from the Bravo show in 2017 after making a controversial accusation against Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker ahead of the show's tenth season. She had an explosive fallout with Kandi after spreading damaging rumors about the husband-wife duo.
Phaedra claimed that Kandi and Todd allegedly planned to drug Porsha Williams and their mutual friend Shamea Morton Mwangi to take advantage of them sexually. However, Kandi and Todd have vehemently and consistently denied Phaedra's claims.
Meanwhile, with both Porsha and Kandi having quit the franchise, it seems to be a perfect time for Phaedra to return to the Bravo show. However, she reflected on the drama during her 'RHUGT' appearance and called her 'RHOA' exit from as ".S" and insisted "there are two sides to every story."
Porsha Williams wants Phaedra Parks to return to 'RHOA' Season 16
'RHOA' star Porsha Williams left the Bravo show franchise midway but always wanted Phaedra Parks to return for Season 16. Before her departure, Porsha addressed the rumors of Phaedra's return during an Instagram Live session, stating she believed "there's enough of Phaedra to go around."
Porsha claimed that the Bravo show fans could be the turning point in negotiations and help to make it a done deal. She said, "We are working... I'm working... I really want Phaedra to find her way back home." She added, "I need y'all to go and write Bravo and let them know that we want Phaedra to come and play." Porsha concluded her live while noting, "Why not come and get this bag over here, sis? Right?"
