'Queer Eye' is among one of the most famous and loved American reality television shows. The show made its debut on February 7, 2018, on Netflix and has gained considerable popularity for its strong representation of the LGBT community including people of color as well. There are already 47 episodes of the show which are hugely popular with the viewers. 

The date for the official release of 'Queer Eye' Season 6 is set for December 31, 2021. This reboot is hosted by five LGBTQ+ superstars who bring different lifestyle skillsets to change a chosen participant’s life. The show is set in Austin, Texas this season. Earlier, the show's Twitter account had shared: “We’re SO EXCITED to step our cowboy boots back in Austin to film Queer Eye: Texas! Can’t wait to bring more smiles (and tears) to your faces!” Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness and Tan France will be together on the big screen again.

Karamo Brown

Karamo Brown is one of the most famous American television hosts, actors and activists. He started his acting career by taking part in the MTV reality show ' The Real World' in 2004. He was the first openly-gay African-American cast on the show. The actor was seen in 5 different reality shows in 2016 and now enjoys a huge fan following. He plays the role of the culture expert on 'Queer Eye' while the others make the contestant physically fabulous, Karamo helps them to love themselves on a deeper level. During the Obama administration, Karamo worked with the White House to help create policy and legislation to support LGBTQ youth after school hours. He also founded his own non-profit organization, 6in10.org, which provides tailored mental health support for Black gay and bisexual men to eradicate the six in 10 HIV statistic plaguing many communities.



 

Antoni Porowski

Antoni Porowski is famous for his role in various movies such as 'Elliot Loves' and 'Daddy's Boy'. Apart from being the resident chef on 'Queer Eye' he is also a model and author. Porowski grew up in Montreal and spent some of his time in West Virginia as a teenager. He also worked as a waiter to earn and support himself. Eventually, he reached New York City to pursue an acting career. He went to the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre to study and worked in restaurants again while trying to make it as an actor. Then 'Queer Eye' happened. According to Elle Canada, Porowski is looking to focus on new personal projects—namely Girls and Boys, a Netflix romantic comedy he’s developing with Black-ish creative Kenya Barris that is loosely based on Porowski’s real-life dating experience as a sexually fluid man.



 

Bobby Berk

Bobby Berk is an interior designer and even found employment at Restoration Hardware and other several companies back in the year 2003 before showing off his acting skills. Berk is also seen as the interior designer expert in 'Queer Eye'. He was also seen in Taylor Swift's video 'You Need to Calm Down.' He was eliminated as 'Mallard' in the Group B semifinals episode of 'The Masked Singer'.



 

Jonathan Van Ness

Jonathan Van Ness is another lead actor in the series 'Queer Eye'. The American actor also works as a hairdresser, podcast host, activist, author and television personality. Van Ness has been the host for the weekly podcast 'Geeting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness', since the year 2013 and the podcast continued its airing until the first episode of 'Queer Eye'. As a trained hairdresser, he makes every client feel fabulous.



 

Tan France

Tan France is a popular British-American television personality, actor, fashion designer and author. He has appeared as the host of the web series 'Dressing Funny.' He also worked as a co-host for the fashion show 'Next in Fashion.' The actor is the fashion expert in 'Queer Eye'.
