It's another day and another drama on 'Project Runway' Season 19. The budding designers were tasked with the challenge of creating a hauntingly chic gown and mask for a masquerade ball within 48 hours. The designers began scrambling around looking for ideas and inspiration for their designs. While some designers managed to knock it out of the park with their amazing designs, some others sadly couldn't rise to the occasion.

The judges- Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, Elaine Welteroth, and guest judge- Taraji Henson, carefully examined every outfit on the runway before picking their top favorite designs and least favorite designs. Katie Kortman, who loves playing around with colors, managed to breeze through the challenge as the judges loved the outfit designed by her. The judges couldn't get enough of the hauntingly simple yet and stunning look that pulled together for the challenge. They put her in the safe zone, while other talented designers like Zayden Skipper, Kenneth Barlis, and Bones Jones' designs were deemed as some of the lowest-scoring looks of the evening and were at the risk of getting eliminated from the competition. Although Kenneth was eventually eliminated from the competition, fans, however, found it extremely hard to believe that the judges liked Katie's design over Bones' design.

Katie designed a simple white dress with black stripes, and handpainted red dots on it to make it look haunting. Interestingly enough, Katie too was very nervous about her design and felt that there was a very good chance that she would be going home. She even kept her bags packed and ready to leave in case she was voted out. So, it came as a surprise to many that the judges loved the look and deemed it to be safe.

Several fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure with the judges' opinion on Katie's design. A fan tweeted, "#ProjectRunway So this week it is Katie‘s turn to send an unmade bed down the runway.." Another fan wrote, "Katie’s “dress” is scary alright but not in a good way. Looks like shoestrings and sheets and painted dots #ProjectRunway." "WHAT THE JUDGES ACTUALLY LIKE KATIE'S LOOK?! I THOUGHT IT WAS UGLY AS F***!!!!!! #ProjectRunway," declared a fan.

Another fan shared, "Bones in the bottom and Katie being safe isn’t sitting right with me. There’s a conspiracy going on. #ProjectRunway." "They said Bones design looked like a craft project but not Katie's design, these judges suck... where's Michael Kors? #ProjectRunway," wondered a fan. "Wait, what? First she says she likes Katie’s outfit, then she has shade for Bones and now has the audacity to say this is the best season ever. #nope #ProjectRunway," commented a shocked fan.
