'Pink Venom': Blackpink in custom Mugler for new teasers has fans saying 'it girl things'

Blackpink is finally making a comeback after almost two years by first dropping the pre-released single 'Pink Venom' in August

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: After almost 2 years of hiatus, iconic K-pop group Blackpink is finally back and they are going all out for it. Not only are we getting a pre-release single before their second album ‘Pink Venom’ but we are also getting a world tour. And while the venues are yet to be revealed, YG shared that the world tour ‘Born Pink’ which will go on till June 2023 will have concerts for a 1.5 million audience. And every day we are getting more details as Blackpink also dropped two teaser images for ‘Pink Venom’.

While Blackpink is set to release their second studio album ‘Born Pink’ on September 16, the girls are gifting fans with a pre-released single ‘Pink Venom’ on August 19 for eager Blinks who have been waiting for them since October 2020. YG had previously shared that Blackpink had finished filming for the music video for this comeback which was their most expensive one yet. And with high expectations, Blackpink is not disappointing as the girls showed a new side to them in custom Mugler outfits.

Blackpink wear custom Mugler

We had Lisa going from always covering her forehead to getting rid of her signature bangs for the first ‘Pink Venom’ teaser. Rosé continued with her tradition of light-colored hair but with a twist as she opted for the ‘oreo’ look. Jennie showed off her duality as she sported a sheer bodysuit and glittering makeup in the first teaser and a hoodie in the second teaser. Jisoo pleasantly surprised everyone as she wore a lip piercing and sleek bangs for her second teaser.

But it was the custom Mugler outfits in the first Blackpink teaser that had everyone shocked. Rosé is wearing a sheer cut-out dress from their S/S 2020 collection. Lisa is given a pink version of the white cut-out bodysuit from the S/S 2022 collection. Jennie’s custom pink bodysuit is an altered version from the S/S 2021 collection that Bella Hadid had first modeled. Unfortunately, Jisoo’s teaser does not give us a clear glimpse of her outfit, but fans are confident that she is wearing Mugler too.

Fans ended up trending the girls as they hyped up the teasers. A Jennie fan tweeted, “Her mind that consistently breeds fresh ideas, new style, and different approach. Fashion Icon It Girl things 💰PINK VENOM JENNIE in #mugler illusion  sheer  bodysuit.” A Lisa fan posted, “Mugler queen.”

A Rosé fan commented, “Rosé wearing mugler ss20. i need full body pictures NOWW.” A Jisoo fan joked, “But seriously WHAT is she wearing, I'm going on a mission to find out myself 😤 I need to know, it looks like she has a hood.” Another Blink shared, “Ohhh blackpink are mugler girls!!”
