'Pam & Tommy' Episode 2: Tommy proposes to Pamela, was it true love or big mistake?

Tommy proposes to Pamela after a whirlwind romance, but it turns out that they have nothing in common

The first episode of Hulu’s latest show ‘Pam & Tommy’ was truly an insane ride and gave us the idea about why Rand Gauthier (Seth Rogen) made the plan of stealing the safe from Tommy Lee’s garage. During the episode, we also got to know that Tommy and Pamela have married after knowing each other for just 96 hours.

However, what happened in those 96 hours? And how did they both fall in love with each other in such a short period of time? So, was it true love or just a big mistake? In episode 2, we went back into the time and got to know how Pamela Anderson (Lily James) was fed up with bad boys and was looking for a “boring” boyfriend. With the success of ‘Baywatch’, she is now the queen of television and tells the waitress to provide everyone in the club with drinks.

Tommy (Sebastian Stan) was making out with a girl when the waitress tells him that the drinks are from Pamela. He leaves the girl and meets Pamela. Tommy firmly believes that he is in love and proposes to Pamela in front of everyone. Pamela says yes and they get married on the beach. As soon as they return, Tommy gets to know how popular Pamela is as the media turns up at the airport for photos and statements.

The biggest drawback in their relationship is that they don’t know each other at all. Tommy doesn’t know Pamela’s popularity, while Pamela doesn’t know about Tommy’s ego. Although they are in love, as of now, it’s more about having sex rather than having true love. Also, the moment also arrives when they plan on recording the tape.
