Despite her character of Sazz being killed in Season 3, actress Jane Lynch will return in Season 4. She will mostly likely be back in flashbacks, similar to how Paul Rudd's Ben Glenroy appeared throughout Season 3 despite dying in first episode.
Jane Lynch confirmed being a part of Season 4 as she said that she has “some really great flashbacks” in an interview with People.
“I don’t want to give it away though, but I’m in it a lot. I’m in five out of 10 episodes, so I’m excited," she added.
3. Meryl Streep's stunning cameo
Oscar award winning actress Meryl Streep had a guest appearance in previous seasons of 'Only Murders in the Building'.
The good news is that Streep will be returning as Loretta Durkin, the love interest to Short’s Oliver Putnam in Season 4 as well.
This season may witness a wedding between Oliver and Loretta, as reported by Town and Country. In May 2024, the cast was spotted shooting a weddding scene in New York City.
4. Mabel Mora's new romantic angle
Three seasons in, 'Only Murders in the Building' has been a disappointment when it comes to Mabel Mora's love life. She is paired off with someone new every season and the romance doesn't carry forward to next season.
