LOS ANEGLES, CALIFORNIA: As Hulu prepares to wrap up its popular show 'Only Murders in the Building' with Season 4 this August, we, as fans, hope to get answers to the unsolved mysteries from previous seasons.

The mystery comedy series features Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in leading roles, who come together to produce their own true-crime podcast while investigating suspicious murders in their affluent building.

Each season generally wraps up the main mystery before the conclusion, while leaving cliffhangers to entice viewers for the next season.

Here are the five burning questions we hope will get addressed in 'Only Murders in the Building' Season 4.

Who killed Sazz Pataki in 'Only Murders in the Building' Season 3?

Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), Charles's double, is shot by an unknown assailant at the end of Season 3. A bullet came through the window of Charles's apartment and killed Sazz.

It marks the first death of a major recurring character in the series. Season 3 ended without revealing Sazz's killer and what was the culprit's intention behind it. Season 4 will primarily focus on the podcasters trio solving Sazz's murder case.

Was the killer trying to kill Charles?

Since Sazz was targeted at Charles's apartment, we can assume that the bullet was meant for Charles (Steve Martin).

But there's too much mystery on the plate at the moment. We clearly don't know if the killer wanted to kill Charles or if Sazz was the actual target.

Remember, Sazz had a "sensitive matter" to discuss with Charles but didn't get the chance? Maybe, she sensed an incoming trouble. Season 4 would explore all the possible angles before the truth is unveiled.

What did Sazz Pataki write on the floor?

Sazz was seen attempting to write a message in her blood but we it ended up being just a streak of blood, as we saw. Was she trying to hint Charles about something?

She probably knew that someone was after Charles and was trying to warn him.

Who poisoned Winnie in Season 1?

In Season 1, Oliver Putnam's (Martin Short) pet dog, Winnie, was poisoned. Although Oliver's son Will saved the dog, the show's creators haven't revealed who tried to kill Winnie.

Three seasons in, fans are still waiting for an answer, which we hope to finally get in Season 4.

Will the show leave New York?

Season 3 expanded 'Only Murders in the Building' beyond the Arconia, with Ben's poisoning at the theater. Season 4 might take Mabel, Oliver, and Charles even further.

Tobert (Jesse Williams) wants Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) to join him in Southern California. With her Aunt's apartment sold, she's ready for new adventures. Loretta is getting offers in LA but is torn between her career and love for Oliver. After Death Rattle Dazzle’s success, will Oliver leave Broadway?

Sazz’s murder at the Arconia could see Mabel and Oliver investigating across coasts, with California offering crucial clues.
