'New Amsterdam' Season 4: Air time, how to live stream, trailer and all about NBC medical drama
'New Amsterdam' fans may be feeling some separation anxiety after the finale of Season 3, but there's more of the medical drama on the cards. The show has not just been renewed for one new season, but two. In 2020, NBC announced a three-season renewal, which included the show’s current third season as well as a fourth and fifth season.
With no major cast changes expected, fans can also expect to see their 'New Amsterdam' favorites back in action in Season 4.

Air time
There has been no official confirmation on when Season 4 of 'New Amsterdam' will return, but the medical drama is expected to return in fall 2021, that is of course if Covid-19 delays do not push the production of the show.
How to live stream
'New Amsterdam' is expected to return to its Tuesday night, 10 pm time slot. For viewers who wish to tune in to the show without cable, they can do so using any of the following streaming services: Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu With Live TV, AT&T TV or YouTube TV.
Plot
Season 3 of 'New Amsterdam' dealt with how the team at New Amsterdam tried to find their new normal, as healthcare workers in a post-pandemic world. It will be interesting to see if 'New Amsterdam' in Season 4 continues to portray what is occurring in real-time around us, in terms of dealing with Covid-19. Besides this, of course, Season 3 also saw Dr Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) and Dr Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) move into a new phase of their relationship.

Ryan Eggold
Prior to his role as Dr Max Goodwin on 'New Amsterdam', Eggold was best known for his roles as Ryan Matthews on the CW series '90210'. He also starred as Tom Keen on 'Blacklist'. Eggold has also had recurring roles on 'The Young and the Restless', 'Entourage' and 'Brothers & Sisters'.
Freema Agyeman
Freema Agyeman, who plays Dr Helen Sharpe in 'New Amsterdam', is best known for playing Martha Jones in the sci-fi series 'Doctor Who' and Alesha Phillips in crime procedural drama 'Law & Order: UK'. Agyeman made her US television debut with the series 'The Carrie Diaries'.
