Is the Netflix series 'Florida Man' based on a true story?

To fight or to fly? That is the question

Mob boss Moss' trust issues surface and he sends his father's ally, who lives to Florida, to tail Mike. Things are already pretty heated up since Mike and his gang can't seem to clean their mess up after another guy gets killed. Then Dutch, the stalker, finally spots Mike and confronts him. Adding another situation to his plate, Mike's ex wife, Iris, lands in Florida to find him and after a little bit of investigation, finds footage of him with Moss' girlfriend at the port. Delly, meanwhile starts panicking and warns Mike about how dangerous people like Dutch can be. Mike has two options — either he runs away or he buys himself another day to clean up all the mess and get his money.

As fate would have it, Mike can't catch a break. His confrontation with Dutch leads to Dutch getting killed which only means that Moss' suspicion about Mike will only grow stronger. What is Mike going to do now?

Mike is walking on very thin ice

'Florida Man,' like any other crime-drama with a comic flair, does a decent job in making the storyline engaging with a lot of things happening all at once. Movies like 'Pulp Fiction' set a great example of how hilarious and captivating a crime mystery could be. Following on the same path, 'Florida Man' is able to make things hilariously chaotic for Mike to keep viewers interested. Edgar Ramirez does a great job in playing the character who, even though does not have it all together, is determined to win what's rightfully his. Will Mike be able to get away from all of the chaos and still get his bag? Watch to find out.
