LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's 'Florida Man' appears to be an unusual crime drama. In the series, ex-cop Mike Valentine is compelled to travel to his home state of Florida to find a Philadelphia mobster's girlfriend. However, the endeavor soon proves trickier than expected as he enters a labyrinth of family secrets, struggling to do the right thing as everything goes wrong.

Donald Todd created the series as part of Aggregate's first-look deal with Netflix, and he also serves as an executive producer alongside Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Miguel Arteta. As director of the first and second episodes, Miguel Arteta sets the tone for the limited series, with Julian Farino, Kevin Bray, and Haifaa Al Mansour taking over for the subsequent installments.

Who stars in ‘Florida Man’?

In the limited series, Edgar Ramrez plays Mike Valentine. The cast also includes Anthony LaPaglia as Sonny Valentine, Abbey Lee as Delly West, Otmara Marrero as Patsy, Lex Scott Davis as Iris, Emory Cohen as Moss, Clark Gregg as Sheriff Ketcher, Isaiah Johnson as Benny, Paul Schneider as Andy Boone, and Lauren Buglioli as Kaitlin Fox.

Besides, Sibongile Mlambo will play Clara, and Leonard Earl Howze will play Ray-Ray. Michael Esper has also been cast in the show but is currently not listed in a specific role. The show's supporting cast includes Owen Harn as Jimmy, Mark Jeffery Miller as Buzz, Isabel Gameros as Tyler, Brandon Hirsch as Chip Devins, and Nicholas Roylance as a character named Llewelyn but is listed as Tweaker.

The limited series will premiere on Netflix across the world on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
