LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix’s limited thriller series, ‘Florida Man’, is all set to premiere. It depicts the story of an ex-cop who is obligated to return to Florida to solve a case but the short gig turns out to be a complicated entanglement with discovering the family’s buried secrets and his vague attempts to do the right thing. 

Donald Todd, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Miguel Arteta, created the limited series with Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films' backing. Miguel Arteta sets the tone for the limited series as the director of the first and second episodes with Julian Farino, Kevin Bray, and Haifaa Al Mansour picking up the baton for the following installments.

Florida is a thin layer of porous crust on top of a hundred feet of water, and it’s maybe a few feet above sea level… it might all sink. So when you feel that everything is temporary, you take what you can when you can get it. A ‘Florida Man’ is someone who’s proudly independent and doesn’t live by your code, which means he doesn’t live by any code.”
