Jung-sook, the doctor turned housewife

Cha Jung-sook is a housewife and quite content with her life, but social pressure and people's snide remarks always make her think about her time as a doctor and how her life will turn out when her mother-in-law comes to visit. Her mother-in-law is obsessed with a healthy lifestyle, attending numerous clinics and also drinking detox juices. She believes that these career women are empty shells and do not have the same fulfilling family life that she has as a housewife. But one fine day, Jung-sook gets dizzy while shopping and collapses on the floor. After being taken to the hospital, she learns that she has liver hepatitis and little chance of survival. The doctor tells her that she needs a liver transplant and that her husband is the perfect candidate. But after her husband refuses and all the family members treat her like an outcast, and only her own mother cares for her, she has an epiphany.
