LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The upcoming K-drama 'Doctor Cha' is creating a lot of buzz even before its premiere on Netflix, where it has already secured an international license. Respected screenwriter Jung Yeo-rang and director Kim Dae-jin lead the creative team behind the series. Studio&New is producing the series with an astonishing budget of about $11 to $12 million. JTBC, a well-known South Korean cable channel, will distribute the series, which is expected to enthrall viewers worldwide.

The plot of 'Doctor Cha' revolves around a former medical graduate Cha Jung-Sook (Uhm Jung-Hwa) who becomes a housewife, but later decides to return to the medical field. In parallel, it highlights the life of her husband, Seo In-Ho (Kim Byung-Chul), a successful doctor who impeccably balances his professional and personal life. Although professionally successful, he keeps his infidelity a secret from his unsuspecting wife.
