Released in 2021, 'My Name' is a South Korean streaming television series that has a total of 8 episodes. 'My Name' is written by Kim Ba-da and directed by Kim Jin-min. The thriller series stars Han So-hee as Yoon Ji-woo/Oh Hye-jin, the lead bereaved daughter, Hee-soon Park as Choi Mu-jin, the boss of Korea's biggest drug ring Dongcheon, and Ahn Bo-hyun as Jeon Pil-do, the detective of Narcotics unit. The thriller series, 'My Name', follows the story of a woman, Ji-woo, who seeks to get revenge for the murder of her father, who was a gangster. To set her revenge plan in motion, Ji-woo joins the gang of Mu-jin and changes her identity to Hye-jin to become the mole of the game inside the police department. It follows the story of Hwang Si-mok (Cho Seung-woo), an amazing prosecutor, who has lost his sense of empathy and does not have any social skills. He teams up with Lieutenant Han Yeo-jin (Bae Doona) to solve a major corruption conspiracy which leads to a plot twist, that will definitely shock viewers. The series is set in 2015 and follows the criminal profiler, Park Hae-young (Lee Je-hoon). When he picks up a walkie-talkie, he was able to communicate with a detective from 1989. This leads to forming of a cold-case team led by Detective Cha Soo-hyun (Kim Hye-soo). However, messing with the past brings consequences to the present. If you want to watch a powerful and unpredictable Korean thriller, then 'Vagabond' is the perfect choice. Released in 2019, the series stars Lee Seung-gi as Cha Dal-gun, the underappreciated stuntman, Bae Suzy as Go Hae-ri, the NIS covert operative and Moon Woo-Jin as Cha Hoon, the orphaned nephew of Dal-gun. 'Vagabond' has total of 16 episodes follows the underappreciated stuntman, Dal-Gun, as he takes care of his nephew, Hoon. When he loses his nephew to a plane crash, he comes across an international conspiracy that sets him to work with the NIS covert operative, Hae-ri. The unraveling mysteries have more to it than it seems.

We couldn't complete the list of K-thrillers without mentioning the global phenomenon 'Squid Game'. This series is celebrated for a reason. Released in 2021, 'Squid Game' tells the story of a desperate group of 456 players, who are battling financial crisis, set to play a deadly version of several children's games and the eliminated person on each level is killed. The players are playing for a cash prize of KRW 5.6 billion (approximately $4.2 million). The gripping narration, the mindset of people and their exploitation are depicted in a hard-hitting way. The first season of this survival thriller consists of 9 episodes, with a second season in the works. 'Squid Game' Season 1 is written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk.

'The Glory' Part 2 is set to release exclusively on Netflix on March 10, 2023.
