The series, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by English author Sarah Pinborough, may just help you feel like all your relationship drama is pretty normal! 'Behind Her Eyes' centers around Louise, a single mother who finds herself embroiled in a rather disturbing, love triangle with her psychiatrist boss and his wife. 'Behind Her Eyes' releases globally on February 17 on Netflix. The trailer of the show that has definitely captured eyeballs released on January 26. Interestingly, the show was first announced in 2019 but due to pandemic delays, the series will now air in 2021.
Plot
'Behind Her Eyes' follows the story of Louise who has an affair with her boss, but the affair takes a dark turn when she unexpectedly becomes friends with his wife Adele as well.
Here's what Netflix has to say about the psychological thriller: "Since her husband walked out, Louise has made her son her world, supporting them both with her part-time job in a psychiatrist’s office. Her world is thrown off-kilter when she begins an affair with her new boss David and matters take an even stranger turn when she’s drawn into an unlikely friendship with his wife Adele."

Eve Hewson
Did you know Eve Hewson is Bono's daughter? The Irish actress who now lives in New York was actually contemplating quitting acting but judging from what seems to be a chilling performance in 'Behind Her Eyes', we're certainly glad she didn't. In case you're wondering where you've seen her before — she played Maid Marian in 2018's 'Robin Hood'. Fans may also recognize Hewson from 'The Luminaries'.
Tom Bateman
Tom Bateman — who has become something of a rising star of British Costume Drama pieces — is perhaps best known for his role in 'Murder on the Orient Express'. He has also been seen in projects such as 'Beecham House' and 'Vanity Fair'.
Simona Brown
An actor popular on the British television circuit, 'The Night Manager' star Simona Brown is also known for her role in 'The Little Drummer Girl'. She also starred in another Netflix drama 'Kiss Me First'.

The novel 'Behind Her Eyes' was written by Sarah Pinsborough. However, it has been adapted for the screen by Angela LaManna and Steve Lightfoot alongside producer Eliza Mellor and director Erik Richter Strand.

Sharing a clip with fans, Netflix captioned the trailer: "Based on the No1 best selling novel with *that* shock ending. 'Behind Her Eyes' follows the entangled lives of single mother Louise and married couple Adele and David. Their story is romantic, thrilling and twisted at the same time, with an ending that is nothing short of shocking."
Fans are already intrigued. "This trailer is captivating, I just can't stop watching," one said and another posted, "I still can't stop thinking about the ending! And the song reminded me of Bates Motel."
