NCT Jeno to make runway debut at New York Fashion Week with Red Velvet Seulgi in audience, fans say 'a win'

Jeno will open for the Vietnamese designer Peter Do while SM Rookies 2022's Shohei and Eunseok will also walk the ramp

NEW YORK, USA: NCTzens (NCT's fandom) have pretty much adopted fashion designer Peter Do as he has been helping NCT members expand their modelling career. After dressing Johnny for the Met Gala 2022, NCT Dream's Jeno will be opening for him at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023. On top of that, Red Velvet's Seulgi and SM Rookies 2022's Shohei and Eunseok will be present at the event.

On Sunday, September 9, it was announced that Do had partnered with SM Entertainment for a special collaboration in which their artists would be roped in for his fashion show. Seulgi, who is set to make her solo debut in October, will be sitting front row for his aforementioned upcoming show. On the other hand, NCT Dream's Jeno, Shohei and Eunseok will be making their runway debut.

Do will be launching his latest menswear collection on September 13 at the NYFW for which Jeno will be opening. Fans are also impressed with the opportunities the SM Rookies 2022 are also getting. While they are yet to make their K-pop debut, they had participated at the SMTOWN Live concert, had a magazine photoshoot with WWD Korea and had also made an appearance on NCT's YouTube show.

The fashion house also shared that it was a natural choice to have the NCT Dream star open the show as Jeno embodies the Peter Do Man who is "multifaceted, confident, and a trailbazer." Vietnamese fashion designer Do is part of the LVMH group and is know for long and sleek silhouettes, inspired by European tailoring trends. He had been applauded for his modern take on America's Gilded Age at the 2022 Met Gala where he styled NCT 127's Johnny in a satin suit with a grand tailcoat.

Gleeful fans could not stay put. One fan wrote, "The behind the scenes instagram content we’re about to get from jeno and seulgi at NYFW." Another said, "Just think it's funny bc ppl were speaking on jeno and seulgi the past week AND YET." One excited fan tweeted, "OMG SEULGI THE ROOKIES AND JENO??? This is such a win for me." Another shared, "Seulgi and jeno i planned this."
