The latest episode of 'NCIS: Hawai'i' has had fans change their mind about the kind of the series that the CBS crime procedural was turning out to be. Titled 'Recruit', the latest episode sees some intense action and some family bonding in equal measure.
The storyline was intriguing enough and that made for a worthwhile watch. 'Recruit' follows Kai (Alex Tarrant) who goes undercover with one of Hawai`i’s oldest surf gangs when a petty officer who’s trying to help wayward kids find a new path in the Marines is murdered. "I must admit.. After the first ep I wasn't too sure about #NCISHAWAII but figured I should give it a chance. 3 ep in and its definitely growing on me. Looking forward to the rest of the season! @VanessaLachey @jasonantoon @AlexTarrant2 @Noah_live@yasalbustami@NCISHawaiiCBS," one of the fans wrote. "It has high expectations to live up to following the name of NCIS and being set in Hawaii with Hawaii Five 0 still being a recent show, and well is not quite as good either predecessor, it is still better than most shows on television," another opined.
The thoughts on the improved episodes continued."Ncis:Hawaii is kinda growing on me. Still not as awesome as LA though. 6 days!!" There was also a bunch that felt the show was not worth the hype. "Sorry NCISHawaii this episode is boring. There's no chemistry between the actors. The episode was slow. Trying to be supportive. Larry Teng does fantastic work. I was excited to see him back in Hawaii. Although this is a different show it's no H50 #NCISHawaii," one of the fans tweeted.
