'NCIS: Hawai'i' Episode 3: Mom vs Mom fight featuring Jane Tennant has fans floored

'NCIS: Hawai'i' has been a Twitter trend since its debut three weeks ago and the latest crime procedural from CBS seems to have hit a home run as the chatter has only become louder with the reviews tilting heavily towards the positive. The latest episode titled, 'Recruiter' sees Kai (Alex Tarrant) goes undercover with one of Hawaii's oldest surf gangs when a petty officer is murdered.
'Recruiter' has generous doses of action, wry humor, and some drama that makes the spin-off a lot more relatable and promising. In a bid to rescue a teen from an anxious and overly-attached mother who literally kills so her son wouldn't join the Navy, Kai & Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) embark on a mission that would not just help the son, the prime suspect, off the hook, but also help realize his dream.

Fans on Twitter were all about the mom vs mom fight between Tennant and the mother, Andrea Pacheco (Lydia Look) after the federal agent figures out that Andrea was the murderer. A major chunk of the audience had already guessed that it was indeed the mother who was the culprit. "OMG I was freaking right about the killer being a woman!!!! #NCISHawaii," one of the tweets read. "Grill her Special agent Jane Tennant @VanessaLachey#NCISHawaii @NCISHawaiiCBS," another tweet read.
"OMG MOM VS MOM FIGHT #NCISHawaii @NCISHawaiiCBS" wrote an excited fan. This was seconded by another fan who tweeted: "@VanessaLachey absolutely threw down in this kitchen fight. #likeaboss #NCISHawaii." The episode also saw some thoughts on Tennant. "Yes Special agent Jane Tennant @VanessaLachey is a great agent but also a great mother as well #NCISHawaii @NCISHawaiiCBS." In the end, they labelled it as a good episode that was worth tuning in.
