Plot
As per the official synopsis — "The Emmy-nominated series is back again! This season, our bakers take on paranormal pastries, celebrate Black History, and attempt to recreate chocolate masterpieces inspired by our very own Jacques Torres, all for that $10,000 prize. It's part reality contest, part hot mess, and you can't look away."

Jacques Torres
A celebrated chef, Jacques Torres began his culinary journey at age 15 , when he landed an apprenticeship at a pastry shop in Bardol, South of France. After this, he went on to work with Two-star Michelin Chef Jacques Maximin at the Hotel Negresco in Nice and even went on to Executive Pastry Chef. At the age of 16, he received the M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) medal in Pastry making him the youngest chef to win the award till date. His deep love for chocolate led him to open his own store, called 'Jacques Torres Chocolate'. The brand has 7 retail locations throughout New York City and is known for its handcrafted chocolates. He is also a published author, having released several cookbooks as well.
Nicole Byer
A comedian, actress, television host, podcaster, and author, Nicole Byer returns as the host for season 6. She's had a rather interesting start to her career, seeing that she moved to New York after high school and waited tables. At the same time, she took classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade. UCB is famous for having given Amy Poehler, Neil Flynn, Adam McKay, and several others their start in the industry. Byer then created starred in a web series produced by UCB, called 'Pursuit of Sexiness'. She has also authored a book titled '#VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE: The Fat Girl's Guide to Being #Brave and Not a Dejected, Melancholy, Down-in-the-Dumps Weeping Fat Girl in a Bikini'. Her other works include 'HouseBroken', 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', 'Tuca & Bertie', 'American Dad!', 'Rugrats', 'Cinema Toast', 'The Pole', 'Invincible' and 'Wipeout' and 'Big City Greens'.
