One of the surest ways of creating a successful K-pop group happens to be survival shows. The viewers who root and vote for the participants, in turn, become fans of the winners who then end up debuting in a K-pop group. Millions of people voted in survival shows like ‘Produce 101’, ‘Under19’ and ‘The Unit’ which formed K-pop groups that created a buzz before their debut. The same can be seen with TAN that was formed through MBC’s latest survival show ‘Extreme Debut: Wild Idol’.

Fans and netizens are still talking about the debut group TAN, the members and the show ‘Extreme Debut: Wild Idol’ even though it came to an end on December 16. Underrated artists and trainees dreaming of a second chance proved their talent along with their survival skills on ‘Extreme Debut: Wild Idol’. And now fans are excited for TAN to debut and unleash their potential. The seven members of the group are Lee Changsun, Bang Taehoon, Kim Jiseong, Seo Sunghyuk, Lee Jaejun, Kim Hyunyeop and Im Jooan.

The finale of 'Extreme Debut: Wild Idol'

The survival show was much-talked-about even before its broadcast for its harsh concept of leaving the trainees in the wild as they had to survive as well as perform and finish missions. Then fans were shocked by the cruel first-round elimination where out of 44 participants, supposedly only 14 participants were saved after which there was a revival round. But MBC’s tactic worked as everyone tuned in to see what would happen next on 'Extreme Debut: Wild Idol'.
