During one of the presentations, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced that 'Secret Invasion' will be coming to Disney+ in Spring 2023. Cobie Smulders revealed some details regarding the much-hyped show.

"This is a darker show," Smulders told the crowd. "We're going to get deeper into the characters. We're going to see them in new ways, and it's going to be an exciting thriller, and you're never going to know who people are. Are they a Skrull? Are they a human? It's going to be a bit of a guessing game." Footage of the upcoming series played in the event had a darker tone than usual MCU content. The opening of the clip showed a conversation between Hill and Fury - he's been off-world for years ignoring her calls, but he's finally come back because he knows the threat is too great.

This will officially be Phase 5 of the MCU. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige revealed the Phase 5 game plan at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday evening, after confirming that Phase 4, which began with TV’s WandaVision, will wind down with Disney+’s 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' premiering Aug 17, and the movie sequel 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' that will be in theaters on November 11. 'Secret Invasion' stars Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos, both characters who first met in Captain Marvel. They are joined by Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman.
