Kit Harington is all set to reprise his role in this much-awaited ‘GoT’ sequel series. The Emmy-nominated star would be coming back to his iconic character of Jon Snow and this series would focus more on him.
In ‘Game of Thrones’ final season, Jon Snow learned that his real true name was Aegon Targaryen, a potential heir to the Iron Throne. In the series finale, he was banished from Westeros and journeyed North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his old life behind.
In reality, this ‘Game of Thrones’ sequel could be paving the way as a real game-changer for other surviving characters within the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe to reappear like Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) who can also have their own spin-off series.
This news scoop also means that there is now approximately seven ‘Game of Thrones’ projects in the pipeline and offing at present including the upcoming ‘House of the Dragon’ prequel series, which debuts on August 21, 2022.
