Plot

In the sixth season's reunion episode, we saw Quad Webb accusing former friend Mariah Huq of snorting cocaine. While Mariah denied the allegations, we will get to see the repercussions of the allegations. Quad and her husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford (popularly known as Dr. G on the show), have finally decided to end their marriage after physical abuse allegations were made against each other. In season six, we saw Dr. Jackie Walters and her husband Curtis Berry trying to work on their marriage after Curtis cheated on her.

In season seven, we will see a newly single Quad dip her toes into the dating pool, while Dr. Contessa Metcalfe will be seeking therapy with her husband Dr. Walter Scott Metcalfe. After Toya and her husband Eugene Harris successfully manage to pay off all their debts, the couple is looking to grow their family and start afresh. Newcomer Buffie Purselle, wife of renown psychiatrist Dr. David Purselle, will be making her debut on the show.
