'Married to Medicine' season 7: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything you need to know about Bravo's popular reality show
Bravo's hit reality show 'Married to Medicine' is back with season seven with more drama from Atlanta's top doctors and their families as they struggle to keep up with their demanding job, family and personal life. The upcoming season seven also has a new wife joining the show.
Release date
The show will premiere on September 8, at 9 pm ET on Bravo. Following the premiere, you can watch the new episodes every Sunday at 9 pm ET only on Bravo.
Plot
In the sixth season's reunion episode, we saw Quad Webb accusing former friend Mariah Huq of snorting cocaine. While Mariah denied the allegations, we will get to see the repercussions of the allegations. Quad and her husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford (popularly known as Dr. G on the show), have finally decided to end their marriage after physical abuse allegations were made against each other. In season six, we saw Dr. Jackie Walters and her husband Curtis Berry trying to work on their marriage after Curtis cheated on her.
In season seven, we will see a newly single Quad dip her toes into the dating pool, while Dr. Contessa Metcalfe will be seeking therapy with her husband Dr. Walter Scott Metcalfe. After Toya and her husband Eugene Harris successfully manage to pay off all their debts, the couple is looking to grow their family and start afresh. Newcomer Buffie Purselle, wife of renown psychiatrist Dr. David Purselle, will be making her debut on the show.
Cast
All of the ladies featured in season six — Toya, Mariah, Dr. Heavenly, Dr. Contessa, Dr. Jackie, Quad, and Dr. Simone — will be returning, alongside newcomer Buffie Purselle. Toya and husband Eugene are looking to add a new member to their family along with moving into their new home. Dr. Heavenly and Damon are broadening their medical horizons by opening a surgical center while still working on their marriage. Dr. Simone and Cecil are still under one roof and enjoying family life as Cecil takes on a new title as Dr. Simone’s assistant.

The show has been created by Mariah Huq, who is also a cast member of the show. The show has been executive produced by Mariah Huq, Matt Anderson, and Nate Green. Matt Anderson is a Peabody Award-winning producer with over two decades of experience in the television industry. In the late 2000's Matt joined Bravo and began working on reality shows like 'The Real Housewives of New York', 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta', 'Bethenny Getting Married?', amongst many others. Nate Green has served as executive producer of several hit reality shows like ' Ex on the Beach', 'Love & Listings', and 'The Real Housewives' franchise.
