Release date
The Real Housewives of Dallas premieres on Wednesday, September 4 at 9 p.m ET/PT.
Plot
The show chronicles the daily lives of six southern housewives from Dallas- Stephanie, LeeAnne, Brandi, D'Andra and Kameron. OG housewife, Cary Deuber has announced that she wouldn't be returning to the show as a housewife, but instead as a "friend". She took this decision owing to time constraints between managing her ever-growing business and her family. New housewife Kary, who is a friend of current housewife D'Andra, will be appearing on the show.
The upcoming season is expected to be filled with a lot of drama, as new housewife Kary has apparently already managed to step on LeeAnne's foot. LeeAnne will be putting all her energy into her upcoming wedding. After opening about her struggles with depression in the previous season, Stephanie continues to work on herself, until an unforeseen feud with a person she assumed to be her ally tips her over. Brandi and her husband are about to adopt their baby boy, Bruin. But Brandi has second thoughts when she realizes that juggling between her current three children and struggling to connect with her eldest daughter, is taking up all her time and energy. D'Andra’s life-long dream of taking over the family business isn’t going exactly the way she planned. To make matters worse, her fiery feud with former bestie LeeAnne turns into a cold war leaving her to question if they’ll ever be able to mend broken fences. We get to see the usual fun and fabulous Kameron being her usual self this season.
Cast
Stephanie Hollman
Stephanie revealed in the previous season about her struggles with depression. This brings her closer to LeeAnne, as even she struggled with it. She lives in Dallas with her husband Travis, and two sons. In this season we will be seeing her working on herself and trying to move on from her past.
LeeAnne Locken
This former beauty-pageant lady has now made a career for herself in the charity space. This season we see her planning her dream wedding and all determined to walk down the aisle with her fiance, Rich. Except that he is reluctant to set the date. Apart from that, LeAnne is also planning to launch her clothing line called Infinity Dress. So, we can expect a lot of drama with this one.
Brandi Redmond
Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Brandi Redmond, is often at the center of all drama on the show. Her sense of humor, coupled with her outspoken attitude doesn't go down well with her fellow housewives. Currently a full-time housewife, Brandi lives with her husband Bryan, and their three daughters. This season we see the couple adopting a baby boy, Bruin.
D'Andra Simmons
D'Andra is no stranger to the social scene of Dallas. After all this southern beauty belongs to one of the oldest and wealthiest families of Dallas. She along with her photojournalist husband, Jeremy resides in the posh Highland Park neighborhood. In this season we see her having trouble with her mother over their family business.
Kameron Westcott
Originally from California, this blonde beauty met her husband Court Westcott when they attended college together. She soon moved to Texas to be with her husband. The couple resides in the exclusive neighborhood of Highland Park with their children, and two dogs. Kameron has an obsessive love for the color pink and has made her motto “Blonde by birth, pink by choice.” Kameron is known for her charity work.
Kary Brittingham
New housewife, Kary Brittingham lives just down the street with her husband and four kids. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, this self-proclaimed “feisty” female isn’t afraid to speak the truth.
Creators
The show is executive produced by Rich Bye, Andrew Hoegl, Andy Cohen. Rich Bye is an Emmy winner, who also executive produces shows like 'Bravo After Hours with Carrie Keagan', 'Project Runway', and several other reality shows. He has worked with fellow executive producer Andy Cohen on 'Project Runway' prior to 'Real Housewives of Dallas'.
Trailer
The trailer opens with a funeral scene, don't worry it's just the Redmond family's rabbit's funeral. We see a lot of drama going down between LeeAnne and D'Andra in the trailer, so it's clear that the two haven't reconciled from their previous season's fight. If the trailer is anything to go by, this season seems to be packed with a lot of drama and fun. We can't wait to watch it.
