'Married at First Sight': Zack is 'mentally and emotionally checked out', say fans

Michaela and Zack's arguments and problems continue, with no end in sight

With each couple inching towards decision day on 'Married at First Sight', the pressure is starting to build up as they try to make their marriage work. While a few couples found that they were mentally, emotionally and physically in tune, others have been struggling so far.

Zack and Michaela started the season extremely strong, having gotten along perfectly well. However, their explosive fights seem to get worse with each passing episode. Although the two seem to have gotten past the initial issue, Zack's inability to let go keeps causing problems.

With Dr Viviana Coles visiting to help couples work through their issues, she dropped by at Zack and Michaela's place. During their conversation, Zack let them know that he feels like Michaela can't change and struggles to differentiate her from her behavior pattern that led to their initial fight. He even canceled a movie night date they had planned and this time, fans believed Michaela's emotions were justified. 

"Zack wrong for the movie night. I know Michaela is crazier than a soup sandwich, but Zack could've pulled through for the damn movie. You know the time it'd take to get that damn Apple TV. #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted a fan."Am I missing something? What else has happened since their argument that has them living separately and in this mode? Is Zack scared to try again or… #MarriedAtFirstSight #mafs" added a fan. "See, im glad Zach is finally saying what he really wanted to say, which is that he cannot (or will not) move forward. Stop acting her feel like shit when she is trying #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS" tweeted a fan. "Zack emotionally and mentally checked out after that first fight ahhhhh #mafs" pointed out a fan. 

While Dr Viviana's advice helped them, the moment she left, Zack had an emotional breakdown. He began crying, and even though Michaela tried to comfort him, he flinched at her touch and continued to sob. He was upset that she felt beat down but refused to listen to Michaela when she said she felt beat down by the situation and not him. Even when she explained she was not upset, Zach was beyond reason. Letting out a string of expletives, he walked out of the house. Fans, who had mostly been on his side so far, began to see reason in Michaela's side of the story.

Pushing her away doesn't help the situation. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted another. "She just said she is not hurt. He says it doesn't matter that's how EYE feel. It's clear, Just say you want to leave and spare us all the dramatics. #mafs" added another.
