For the couples of 'Married at First Sight', the closer they get to discussion day, the more they seem to encounter hardships and differences. With the arguments getting more and more intense, some couples seem as though they might be hitting their breaking point.

While Johnny and Bao are struggling because Johnny doesn't feel a spark or attraction between them, they aren't the only fan-favourite couple who has hit a significant roadblock. Zack and Michaela, who started extremely strong, ended up having one of the worst arguments this season. And by the looks of it, they are still struggling to move past it.

'Married at First Sight' fan review: Inside each star couple's house warming party

After the initial argument where Zack left the house for a few hours in the morning, resulting in a total meltdown, the pair tried to reconcile with Pastor Cal's guidance. While they did address Michaela's abandonment issues, it wasn't enough to fix the problem. After they met with Pastor Cal, Michaela cancelled the housewarming only to decide to have it again. Zack was upset with these changes in plans, seeing that he could not switch his emotions on and off that casually. The pair argued even after the housewarming, as Michaela insisted that her apology should be accepted while Zack couldn't seem to move on. In this episode, the issue persisted as Zack maintained that even though he wanted to fix their relationship, Michaela's behaviour was the issue. Michaela's anger continued to flair up, and fans called her out on it.

"#MAFS #marriedatfirstsightHouston Michaela doesn't communicate well at all! And this is not a good look! Gather yourself girl and find a way to have a healthy dialogue with Zach!" tweeted a fan. "She doesn't understand that Zach doesn't know her...so if she's not willing to tell him what he's done wrong, it'll never get fixed. #MAFS" added another. "I don't think Michaela has ever has a non-toxic relationship as she cannot understand where Zack is coming from. It's not about the cause it's about her reaction. She doesn't believe her reactions are wrong and will continue to react that way #MAFS" said another. "Michaela is not listening. Or is Zach not articulating himself well, or is it both. The Man isn't telling you that you can't be upset or angry or some of it ain't his fault.... he's saying how you react doesn't work for him. tbh it probably doesn't work for MOST people #mafs" tweeted a fan. "Michaela, Zach may very well trigger things in you, which a spouse will do...but you are responsible for how you respond. Blowing up and cussing him out is only going to make him shut down. He just used a lot of words to say that. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" added a fan.

While most fans felt as though Michaela's communication style was the issue, a few fans also called out Zack on his behavior, seeing that he looked as though he made his mind regarding the relationship but was not entirely honest that he wanted out.
"Zach has already decided to be out of the marriage and he's wasting Michaela's time. He needs to tell Michaela that he no longer wants the marriage. If you're out, be firm in your decision. #MarriedAtFirstSight #MAFS" tweeted a fan. "Zack has a fair point about conflict resolution, it shouldn't be to the max every time. However, him crumbling so easily because of it is also odd. #mafs #marriedatfirstsightHouston #marriedatfirstsight" said another.

However, the couple did manage to reach some common ground when Zack asked her what he could do to better their relationship. Zack promised to work on self-reflection and his communication as he wanted to make this relationship work. Michaela, too, promised to meet him halfway, stating that she would think before she acted, verbalising better what she needed, and taking time to understand what he needed for her. They both seem to have the right intention, but actions do speak louder than words. What do you think? Will Michaela and Zack be able to make it work? Sound off below!
