LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tuesday's episode of 'Live With Kelly & Mark' was all about the hosts talking about their recent international trip and what ensued after was pure American TV show content, and we can't wait to talk about it. As soon as the conversation started, Mark Consuelos was the first to talk about his recent exotic trip to the land of pizza, Italy.

Mark joked about how the trip to Italy was indeed a 'field trip' that the producer Michael Gelman had sent him on. But, when the jokes died down, Mark revealed the real reason he visited Italy, and the reason got the best reaction from the audience' present. Mark Consuelos flew to Italy to visit a soccer team that had to start in the lowest division. The team won and made it to the next division, which the crowd cheered for. But, something drastic happened when Mark was injured while on the trip.

Mark Consuelos injured himself while kicking a ball

While Mark started talking about his trip, Kelly stopped him and said, "You got injured." Mark replied to Kelly matter-of-factly, "Yeah, but we'll talk about that." Later, Mark had to show his whereabouts to the audience and asked the producers to roll the video of him in Italy. At one point in the video, the audience can see Mark sitting on a cot, holding on to his knee. While talking about injury, Mark said, "So, very embarrassing, I hurt myself kicking the ball, so I'm here with the physio for our soccer team, Michele. He's gonna fix me up, we'll see if he can do it." Mark didn't let the injury hold him back, he was seen signing autographs and posing for photographs. He also made sure the audience knew that he's back to feeling normal now.

The saga of mispronouncing names continues

While, Mark and Kelly discussed their exotic trip and a bad injury, the conversation took a turn when Mark called a fan by the wrong name while chatting to them during Thursday's episode. And the 'awkward moment' was swiftly corrected by wife, Kelly Ripa. The couple were taking part in their daily Grow For It Spring trivia segment, in which fans ring in to answer a question in the hopes of winning a prize. Mark made an honest mistake and called their first caller "Charlotte" instead of "Sonya." He announced, "On the phone is Sonya Heath from Charlotte, North Carolina." He added perilously, "Hey there, good morning Charlotte!" Kelly looked over at her husband's notes and muttered hastily: "Sonya, that's Sonya." She mouthed the name more clearly for the camera, "Sonya." Mark looked down over at his notes and said, "Oh, Sonya, she's from Charlotte. Yeah, sorry."

Mark Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest as Kelly's new co-host of the show on April 17.
