Stray Kids fans give members their best gift on the JYP Entertainment group’s 4th anniversary in the form of a music show win for ‘Maniac’

JYP Entertainment’s powerhouse boy group Stray Kids made their debut on March 25, 2018, with nine members. Now, the eight-member group (sans ex-member Woojin) is celebrating their new comeback with the mini-album ‘Oddinary’ that was released early last week. Over the years, Stray Kids have made their presence felt in the music industry by transforming into one of the youngest self-producing groups in K-pop, and proud fans love to celebrate every new success with the members.

On March 25, it was announced that Stray Kids had surpassed a total of 850,000 albums sold within the first week of their comeback with ‘Oddinary’ while the song 'maniac' was yet to bag its first music show win. As a way to celebrate the group's fourth debut anniversary, fans gave their 100% to vote for the members who were set to perform at the KBS2 TV music show, ‘Music Bank’.

Stray Kids’ ‘Maniac’ bags 1st music show win

Stray Kids performed ‘Maniac, the lead single from ‘Oddinary’, for the first time on March 24 at Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’. Their fans, who really wanted their favorite group to be a success, congratulated the girl group (G)I-DLE for winning in place of Stray Kids but worked hard to help the boys bag a music show win for ‘Maniac’. Their first music show win could not have been placed on a better day as they were in for a double celebration.

On March 25, on the day of their 4th Anniversary, Stray Kids bagged their 12th Music Show win since debut as well as their first-ever music show win for the single, ‘Maniac’, only a week after its release. With a total of 10,596 points, the boy group defeated (G)I-DLE’s ‘Tomboy’ and took the trophy home. This also marks their third ever music show win on 'Music Bank' following their 2021 wins with 'Thunderous' and 'Christmas Eve-L'.
