'Love Island' fans threaten to quit watching show if Cashay is sent home during recoupling

'The producers better bring in one more new boy for Cashay before the next recoupling if they know what’s good for them,' warned a fan

Love triangles can get messy and awkward for everybody involved in the equation, but the way 'Love Island' star Cashay Proudfoot is handling the tricky situation has earned her several die-hard fans. Despite not getting picked by any of the guys during the first coupling, Cashay didn't give up and eventually ended coupling up with new islander Melvin 'Cinco' Holland Jr. From the get-go Cinco was confused between whether to go with Cashay whose personality he was drawn to or Trina Njoroge, who beauty drew him in. Although he was coupled up with Cashay he still kept toying with the idea of exploring his connection with Trina. 

When Trina too began expressing her interest in Cinco, it created an awkward love triangle situation. Cinco kept leading both the ladies on by pointing out how he liked both of them and picking one of them was a very hard task. But as the tension and awkwardness kept increasing with each passing day, he finally made his decision. He sat down with Trina and told her that he was interested in pursuing her, but was yet to break this news to Cashay.

So, if Cinco is going to couple up with Trina this leaves Cashay partner less, which isn't the situation any islander would like to put themselves into since it could lead to elimination. So, fans are getting worried about Cashay's place on the show. Several fans took to Twitter to express how they would be upset if their favorite islander is sent home during the upcoming recoupling ceremony.

A fan tweeted, "If Cashay ends up going home at the next recoupling im gonna cry #LoveIslandUSA." "If Cashay goes home I’ll be pissed #LoveIslandUSA," wrote another fan. "If Cashay go home tomorrow, we getting it back in blood when we can vote couples off. #LoveIslandUSA," commented a fan.

Fans also began threatening to quit watching the show if Cashay is sent home. A fan shared, "If cash go home I’m not watching this anymore #loveislandusa." "The producers better bring in one more new boy for Cashay before the next recoupling if they know what’s good for them. #LoveIslandUSA," declared a fan. Another fan pointed, "Unless they magically bring in a guy that likes black girl cashay might be going home and i can’t stomach it #LoveIslandUSA."

'Love Island' Season 3 airs Tuesday through Friday at 9 pm ET/PT on CBS. In addition, Love Island will air on Sunday nights from 9-11 pm ET/PT for the remainder of the season.
