Is Cinco 'playing' Cashay by coupling up with her? 'Love Island' fans say he's giving 'Caleb vibes'

It's only the second episode of 'Love Island' Season 3 and fans are already having some very strong feelings about the couples in the villa. During the first recoupling, Cashay Proudfoot got the raw end of the stick when she ended up being forced to couple up with Christian Longnecker, who she wasn't attracted to even remotely as he wasn't muscular enough for her. When fans found out that Christian might potentially be an ardent Trump supporter after a picture of him wearing a MAGA cap began doing rounds on the internet, everybody was determined to give Christian the boot and save Cashay from him.

In a typical out of the frying pan and into the fire situation, while Cashay dodged Christian, she ended up straight into the arms of another questionable islander- Melvin 'Cinco' Holland Jr. Cinco.  Cinco and Will Mocanda were introduced as the new islanders towards the end of the episode, and they could pick any of the girls from the villa to couple up with. As rumors of Cinco already having a girlfriend back home began spreading like wildfire, fans were worried for Trina Njoroge, who was extremely drawn to Cinco. While everybody was hoping for Cinco and Trina to not couple up, the delivery driver quietly tuned his focus on Cashay.

On the recently aired episode of 'Love Island', Cinco had the opportunity to get to know the girls to help him decide who to couple up with. He finally narrowed down his options to Trina and Cashay. He kept pointing out how Cashay has an amazing personality. So, when it was time to recouple, it came as no surprise when he picked Cashay to couple up with.

Fans are obviously not happy about it and are hoping that he doesn't play Cashay or break her heart. A fan tweeted, "Cinco is 100% playing a game. Pleaseeeee we are not stupid Cinco. You can’t take us fi eediat #LoveIslandUSA." Another fan wrote, "Cinco better not be playing a game by picking Cashay. I really hope he’s genuine #LoveIslandUSA." "Cinco better not play these black women or we’re gonna have a problem #LoveIslandUSA," declared a fan.

Many fans couldn't help but notice the striking similarities between Cinco and 'Love Island' Season 2 contestant Caleb Corprew. Caleb and Justine Ndiba won 'Love Island', but fans were devastated when it was later revealed that he already had a girlfriend when he joined the show, and after the show's filming ended, he got back with his girlfriend. A fan shared, "Cinco gives me Caleb vibes and im scared. He too nice #loveislandusa." "I’m scared the spirit of Caleb will enter Cinco so he can embarrass and waste another Black Queen’s time #LoveIslandUSA," seconded a fan. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "I see right through Cinco and his lil game moves or maybe Caleb messed me up #LoveIslandUSA."

We will just have to wait and watch to see if Cinco is really drawn to Cashay or is just 'playing' a game.

'Love Island' Season 3 airs Tuesday through Friday at 9 pm ET/PT on CBS. In addition, 'Love Island' will air on Sunday nights from 9-11 pm ET/PT for the remainder of the season.
