'It was flat': 'AGT' contestant Lily Meola called out for her 'off-key' singing during semi-finals

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: After bagging Heidi Klum's golden buzzer during the auditions, all eyes are on singer Lily Meola. The 27-year-old wowed the judges with her beautiful songwriting skills and vocals during the auditions, earning her a spot in the semi-finals round.

For the semi-finals, Lily decided to recreate the magic yet again and explained how her performance was once again dedicated to her late mother who succumbed to cancer. Unfortunately for Lily, Howie Mandel wasn't a huge fan of her performance, and neither were the 'AGT' fans. While Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara praised her performance, Howie felt that Lily's performance lacked the oomph and fell flat. Surprisingly, the audience agreed with Howie and called out Lily for not only her lackluster performance but also her "sob story".
