‘Lil Jon Wants To Do What’: Lil Jon and Anitra turn a 1952 Alma trailer into luxury suite on wheels
A couple purchased a 1950s-era trailer to make their camping outings more upscale and sophisticated. In the newest episode of 'Lil Jon Wants to Do What?', Lil Jon and Anitra Mecadon take extra precautions to guarantee that their lightweight and custom designs remain stable when the mobile house is in motion.
Kelly Kline and her wife Symantha Reenders refurbished and reimagined a 1970 Scotty Serro camper and transformed it into a small, farm-style mobile bar, currently known and available for rentals as Treehouse Tap, during the height of pandemic lockdowns in 2020. To boost the ante, Kline and Reenders have now joined with the latest HGTV series 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What?' to refurbish a 30-foot, three-room Alma Travel Trailer from 1952 and transform it into a deluxe suite on wheels. Who doesn't want to collaborate with Lil Jon? He's a larger-than-life music industry star, and now he's showing his talents in a variety of different ways. In the couple's endeavor, Lil Jon will be bringing out a lot of wonderful ideas to the table. He's toured the world, ridden in deluxe tour buses, and seen incredible hotels and nightclubs, so he'll be seen continuously drawing on those experiences and applying them to the remodeling and design of the Alma.
Grammy Award-winning artist, rapper, and DJ turned out-of-the-box house renovation Lil Jon features in 'Lil Jon Wants to Do What?' with famous designer and professional builder Anitra Mecadon. They work together to assist skeptics who are stuck in a dull home to uncover their creative wild side with strikingly unorthodox remodeling ideas that seem difficult to achieve. The HGTV opportunity is a wonderful fit for Kline's new firm Vintage Ventures. Kline is looking forward to the introduction of Treehouse Studios' new car rental segment, which will broaden the well-known Treehouse Studios rental spaces to include historic automobiles with nostalgia and personality.
Vintage Ventures' purpose is to share the couple's appreciation of this bygone period with people in the production and event industries. They are crazy about antique campers! The beauty of them, the deliberately put out and constructed areas - just the style and design of that age is great. So for them, the act of resurrecting something from 40 or 50 years ago or reimagining how the space may be used is quite satisfying!
The Alma is a resto-mod in the truest sense of the term. The couple, along with Lil Jon and Anitra, fully restore the exterior to its 1950s appearance. Meanwhile, the inside features all the contemporary amenities that you would expect from a high-end hotel suite. It's a genuine one-of-a-kind setting that people will be talking about long after they've visited. The outdoor kitchen is one of Kline's favorite features of the rebuilt and improved Alma. It's amazing and was entirely custom-built, with top-of-the-line appliances from K.A.M.P. Drawers. The clean design and clever use of space are astounding. Everyone enjoys a good grilling station, and this one is top-notch!
Kline's Alma trailer project will be showcased in episode 5 of 'Lil Jon Wants To Do What' which will air on HGTV and Discovery+ on May 30, 2022, at 10 pm. The first episode aired on May 2 and a new episode will run premiere every Monday at 10 pm.
