It seems like love is making Amara La Negra go blind. Following her split from Emjay, the 'Love & Hip Hop: Miami' star quickly found love with a relator from Dominican Republic (DR) named Allan Mueses. Things between Allan and Amara moved pretty quickly as the couple got into the real-estate business together and the 'LHHMIA' star was also seen toying with the idea of quitting her music career and settling down in DR with Allan.

But Amara's mother Mama Ana wasn't here for Amara quitting her career. The mother-daughter duo got into a heated fight when Amara hinted at leaving her career to settle down with Allan. Mama Ana questioned her daughter's decision by pointing out all the sacrifices she made so that the 'LHHMIA' star would have a successful life and career. After hearing out her mother's side of the story, Amara began reconsidering her idea of settling down in DR. So she called her boyfriend home to inform him that she would be leaving for Miami to take care of her business and ensure that her mother was properly taken care of and financially settled, before returning to DR to be with him. Amara was hoping for Allan to be an empathetic and supportive partner, but she instead witnessed Allan's bad attitude and controlling nature.

When Amara told Allan about her decision to go back to Miami, he got very defensive and began lashing out at Amara. He mocked her for being so dependent on her mommy and told her that she wasn't a child who needed her mommy's approval and permission for everything. He shamed her for being concerned about her mother. Amara was taken aback by his attitude but tried explaining to him that she had to be completely sure of everything before she gave up her entire life and career to move to DR to settle down with him. To break the tension she requested him to drive her to the airport.

Allan refused to drop her at the airport and said he would instead book her an Uber. He, however, reluctantly agreed with Amara's decision to go to Miami. Fans began slamming Allan for his controlling nature and advised Amara to dump him. A fan tweeted, "Allan is clout chasing! Run Amara #LHHMIA." Another fan wrote, "Allan is selfish af! Amara leave his dumb a**!!! #LHHMIA." "Allan seems very toxic #LHHMIA," added a fan.
