‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ star Amara La Negra is literally stuck between a rock and a hard place with her manager Julian Boothe handling her career, and her boyfriend Emjay being way too involved in her business life. To begin with, Julian might not be the best manager to have, considering what he has done to Trina, and his attempt to sleep with Amara. As if working with Julian isn’t stressful enough, Emjay adds on to it by pressurizing Amara to fire Julian.

So, when Amara meets her lawyer to discuss how to step away from Julian, she learns that Julian owns all of her work.

As Amara grapples with her new learned reality, her mother steps in with some amazing advice. Amara’s mother advises her to follow her heart and not let anyone make decisions for her. She particularly points out Emjay and asks her to not let him get into her head. Amara’s mother also suggests that she should meet up and talk to Julian before taking any further actions. The singer appears to have taken a part of the advice, for we see her meeting up with Julian to discuss their work and goes on to fire him. But unfortunately, she’s still allowing Emjay to run the reins.

Meanwhile, fans are also encouraging the 29-year-old singer to listen to her mother. A fan tweeted, “Amara, baby, listen to your mom!! She is so smart and she can see their BS a mile away! And file a lawsuit against Julian. I'm sure there's a morality clause that says he can't sexually assault you my love. #LHHMIA.” Another fan shared, “Amara, you betta listen to your mama!  Emjay is doing waaaayyyyyy too much #LHHMIA.” “Listen to ya mamma Amara!!!! She saw right thru that man of yours #LHHMIA,” echoed another fan.

Fans also advised the young singer to make her own business decisions as her mother advised, rather than letting the men in her life handle it for her. A fan wrote, “Amara mom is so right that's her career don't let anyone else get in her ear but I also don't trust Julian #LHHMIA.” Another fan commented, “I need Amara to speak up when she's handling business! Got me yelling at the TV saying what she should be saying!! #LHHMIA.” “Amara is weak-minded when it comes to business decisions. She pushes things under the rug & STILL want to consider them as friends #LHHMIA,”  pointed out a fan. “Amara needs to be about her business and stop putting it in the hands of these men. Boss up sis #LHHMIA #LHHMiami #LHH,” suggested a fan.
