Amara's father was largely absent from her life, and her mother took up the primary responsibility of raising her. When Amara met up with her father, he apologized to her for not being present in her life and revealed that his lack of papers and documentation was why he couldn’t be in Amara's life. He also requested her for some money for his cancer treatment. Although her mother and fans saw many red flags with her father's sudden resurfacing in her life, the 'LHHMIA' star seemed to be inclined toward helping her father.

In the preview clip we see Amara explaining that although her father was a bad parent, she doesn't want to be a bad daughter. So, we might finally get to know where Amara and her father's relationship currently stands. Her mother too was present on the show and she didn't seem very happy about her daughter reconnecting with her father. We will have to watch the upcoming episode to see how things pan out between them.

'Love & Hip Hop: Secrets Unlocked' airs every Monday at 8/7c only on VH1.
