Looks like Legacies is trying to stir up some good old flames. With two love triangles already being unfurled in the last episode, between Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) and Alaric (Matthew Davis), Emma (Karen David) and Dorian (Demetrius Bridges), it looks like we are about to be flung into literally another rabbit hole of romance. For episode 14, the show is bringing back a curly haired, Landon look-alike vampire who doesn't exactly have the strongest relationship with our heroine Hope. 

You guessed it, the only other boy from Hope's past, Roman Sienna (Jedidiah Goodacre) makes a return in the show and we aren't sure how to make sense of it. So does he want something from Hope? Is he, somehow, connected to Malivore? Or is he possibly trying to finish what his mother started? What's concerning is that when we left him the last time in 'The Originals', he wasn't on the best terms with Hope and understandably so. Roman's mom had a huge part to play in killing Hope's mom Hayley (she literally tried to yank her heart out), and he had lied to her consistently. He did seem like he was troubled about his mom's revenge plot but at the end of the day, he was just as much at fault as his mother.

At the time, Hope and Roman had already enrolled in the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted. They were buddies and classmates and eventually sparks flew that led them to run away together. As it turned out, unfortunately, that it had been Roman's plan all along to get Hope alone and kidnap her. 

Hope has now moved on with Landon, and the two are going pretty strong. Episode 14's synopsis, however, reveals that Roman visiting the school gets Hope so distraught she loses her Tribrid mojo. Not a good time to lose out on magic since there's a new monster knocking on their door every week. In the last couple of weeks, they dealt with mummies, giant spiders, mind-controlling parasites, dragons, dryads, gargoyles, and monsters that can raise the dead and each time, Hope's magic and presence of mind have been crucial to getting them a win. She is, after all, one of her kind, and more powerful than all of the students and Alaric combined. With her magic compromised, it's going to be potentially troubling for the whole gang. 

Another thing is, an emotionally unstable Hope is not a great Hope. The last time she got emotionally swept away with things, she ended up creating a vampire who fed on a student and then jumped off the roof and also got her mom kidnapped that eventually got her killed. Not that both of the incidents were her fault, but she started a chain of reaction that she had no control over. Let's hope Hope can keep her cool.
