Byulharangs (Chungha’s fandom) don’t have to wait anymore because our favorite K-pop soloist is back. Chungha has announced that she’s coming back with a special single ‘Killing Me’. She entered 2021 with a bang as she dropped her first-ever studio album ‘Querencia’. The multi-lingual album had English, Spanish and Korean songs as she dropped several dance-pop and R&B singles of the album. The album did quite well as it debuted at #1 on Gaon, the tracks charted on Bugs while ‘Bicycle’, the title track debuted at #2 on Bugs and Genie.

The album also did well internationally as Chungha topped iTunes, entered the top 3 of US iTunes and even charted on Billboard. ‘Querencia’ debuted in the top 10 of Billboard World Albums Chart and at #5 on the Heatseekers Albums Chart. She was also featured in Rain and Colde’s singles but then she disappeared making fans wonder what she was up to. She was seen on a couple of variety shows like ‘On And Off 2’, I.O.I’s reunion and at a friend’s wedding but that was it.
