From Butcher to Homelander, here are all the fan-favorite characters set to return for 'The Boys' Season 4
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The highly anticipated fourth season of 'The Boys' will debut on Prime Video on Thursday, June 13, 2024, with an intriguing plot and heart-pounding action.
Headlined by Eric Kripke, the third season of the show ended on a cliffhanger, with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) on the verge of death, the Boys barely surviving, the Seven in tatters, and Homelander (Antony Starr) fully unleashing his worst side.
Additionally, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) leave the seven and joins The Boys in their struggle against the wicked group of superheroes led by the deranged Homelander.

Karl Urban as Billy Butcher
Karl Urban is slated to reprise his role as the grizzled leader Billy Butcher, whose battle with Vought and the Supes has taken a personal toll.
The show portrays Butcher as driven by a persistent ambition to bring down Vought, the corporation that manufactures Compound V, a drug that confers superhuman abilities, and the corrupt superheroes, or 'Supes', under their control.
Karl Urban, a New Zealand native, is well-known for his appearances in action, fantasy, and science fiction films and television shows.
The actor made his Hollywood debut in 2002 with 'Ghost Ship' and has since been in a number of television and film projects, earning a reputation for himself. His most notable acting credits are in 'Star Trek' reboot film series, 'The Bourne Supremacy', 'Dredd' and 'Thor: Ragnarok' among others.
Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell
Jack Quaid is all set to reprise his character of Hughie Campbell as the guy who became entangled in the turmoil after his girlfriend's untimely murder at the hands of A-Train (Jessie T Usher).
Hughie's transformation from a naïve computer shop clerk to a pivotal figure in the battle against renegade superheroes will continue to unfold.
Jack is the son of recognised actors Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, and was born on April 24 1992.
In 2012, Quaid dabbled in acting with a brief part in the dystopian blockbuster 'The Hunger Games'. His career took a huge leap forward when he earned the main role of Hughie Campbell in the Amazon Prime series 'The Boys'.
Antony Starr as John Gillman aka Homelander
Antony Starr returns as Homelander, The Seven's sociopathic commander.
Starr, known for his terrifying depiction of a superhero with godlike abilities and a wounded ego, has been the series' standout performance. Season 4 will include more of Homelander's surprising and scary actions.
Born in 1975, Starr started his acting career in his home country, New Zealand. In 2005, he rose to prominence for his roles as twins Jethro and Van West in the hit comedy series 'Outrageous Fortune'.
He continued to shine on television, playing starring roles in dramas like 'Banshee' and 'American Gothic'.
Erin Moriarty as Annie January aka Starlight
Erin Moriarty will once again assume the outfit of Starlight, a beacon of hope and righteousness among the greedy superheroes.
Starlight's fight to restore integrity to the corrupt superhero organisation continues, and her friendship with Hughie remains an important story factor.
Moriarty was born in New York City in 1994 and started performing at an early age. Her first professional appearances were as a teenager on television dramas such as 'One Life to Live' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.'
Her breakthrough role came in 2019 when she played Annie January, popularly known as Starlight, in the Amazon Prime series 'The Boys.'
She received critical acclaim for her performances in films such as 'Captain Fantastic' and 'The Kings of Summer.'
Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve
Dominique McElligott reprises her role as Queen Maeve, a seasoned member whose internal fights and alliances are anticipated to play a key part in the future season's storylines.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1986, McElligott's acting career started at an early age.

Jessie T Usher returns as A-Train, the speedster whose addiction and personal troubles have created substantial strife among The Seven.
Usher is an American actor who is slowly and steadily making a name for himself.
In 2003, his family relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. This relocation proved to be a significant advancement in his career.
Usher began with cameo appearances on famous series such as 'Without a Trace' and 'Hannah Montana'.
His first notable role was in the Cartoon Network series 'Level Up', where he portrayed the primary character, Lyle Hugginson. His other acting credits include 'The Banker', 'Seal Team', 'Survivor's Remorse', 'MacGyver' and others.
Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk

Laz Alonso will also reprise his role Mother's Milk in season 4 of 'The Boys'. He is a former soldier who uses his power and expertise to take out corrupt superheroes. The passion for taking down Vought and safeguarding his family serves as a stabilising force in the show's tumultuous universe.
Alonso, who was born in Washington, D.C., in 1974, has made a name for himself in action films, where he often plays powerful and resolute characters.
He started his career by hosting TV programmes and performing in music videos.His breakthrough came in 2009, when he played the main antagonist in the fourth installment of 'Fast & Furious'.
His other acting credits are 'Just Wright', 'Wrath of Man', 'Person of Interest', 'Power Book II: Ghost', 'The Mysteries of Laura' and 'Southland' among others.
