While the men struggle to build more meaningful connections, Kurt certainly seems to be dealing with the brunt of it all. For him, Carolyn's increasing jealousy and drama certainly had it impossible for him to get to know anyone else better. However, at the same time, he was also torn, seeing that he did have strong feelings for her. However, with it came a lot of drama. Kurt and Steven concluded that smaller dates would be a lot easier, as it would allow them to spend more time with the ladies and avoid another camp-like scenario. Amanda, Amber, Annie, Calah, Suzan and Whitney were invited for the first small group date. This meant Jennie, Carolyn and Breanna had to stay at home. Fans were amused with the outcome of this setting.

"I’m convinced Carolyn only likes Kurt because she believes he’s the millionaire. Period #JoeMillionaire" tweeted a fan. "Having major fomo on behalf of @caroesteph @BrehagenMN and @Jenniealexandr #JoeMillionaire" added another. "Dates going well! Meanwhile I’m over here like I wonder what Carolyn doing back home #JoeMillionaire" said a user. "Carolyn be like 😂😂 #JoeMillionaire" agreed another. "This is how a group date should go! #JoeMillionaire" said a user.

While Carolyn claimed she didn't feel threatened by this, Kurt and Steven realized that they both were interested in three women -- Calah, Amanda and Whitney. They were all ready for some friendly competition between them when wowing these ladies.
