'The Voice' 21 Finale: Jershika Maple dubbed 'superstar material' after performance
It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Jershika Maple hasn't had the easiest journey on 'The Voice' Season 21. Despite delivering consistently good performances, she found herself constantly at the bottom fighting for the instant save vote to avoid elimination. Thankfully, the audience saved her and gave her a chance to compete in the finale of 'The Voice' Season 21, and dare we say, she did not disappoint.
For her finale performance, Team Legend's Jershika picked Adele's cult-favorite song 'Rolling in the Deep'. Jershika managed to perfectly hit all the high notes of this fan-favorite song and even added her own twist to it. By the end of her performance, coaches as well as fans, were tongue-tied. Jershika's coach John Legend got a bit emotional while pointing out how she deserved to be on the stage and deliver such performances for all her life. Jershika's former coach Kelly Clarkson once again expressed regret for letting go of Jershika from Team Kelly after watching her power-packed performance.

Fans too took to Twitter to praise Jershika's jaw-dropping performance and hailed her as the winner of the season. A fan tweeted, "Jershika got all of my votes tonight. It was the awesomeness of those subtle runs that she sprinkled throughout that performance. Every week she sings DOWN! The woman is just vocally masterful! #TheVoice." Another fan wrote, "Both wendy and jershika are deserving. But if I HAVE to choose. I would choose Jershika solely based on how much performance she actually brings to her performances. Wendy just stands there. Which isn’t a bad thing but Jershika brings life to the stage. Someone help. #TheVoice." "Jershika is a performer and that matters the most! Winner and superstar material #TheVoice," expressed a fan.
