Although NBC's singing competition show 'The Voice' focuses on the vocals of the performers, the showmanship and stage presence is equally important if a performer wants to win over fans. It looks like Team Blake's Wendy Moten might soon be learning this the hard way. After dabbling in the music industry for over two decades, Wendy turned to the NBC competition show to further her solo career.

While both coaches and fans have raved about her incredible vocals at every given opportunity, fans, however, feel that her performance falls flat due to the lack of her showmanship and stage presence. When Wendy made it to the finale round, fans were hoping for her to loosen up a bit and enjoy herself while performance during the finale. Unfortunately, as she belted out a Whitney Houston song, Wendy retained her dead-pan expression and continued her performance, which had fans feeling underwhelmed by her performance.

Several fans took to Twitter to point out how Wendy's lack of showmanship killed her chances of winning. A fan tweeted, "Wendy can sing but she is not a great performer. Even before the broken arms, All of her performances shes just staring into the abyss #TheVoice." Another fan wrote, "Y'all please remove ur wendy votes because as talented as she is, she does not perform #thevoice." "Agree. A singer needs to emote. An undercurrent of emotional investment in the performance to evoke the feels in the audience. Wendy's kinda emotionally monotone. Great vocals but nothing layering them #TheVoice," expressed a fan.

Another fan shared, "Nah wendy made that song boring i didn't know that was possible but she did it ! no doubt incredible vocals but her performances as a whole lacks emotion & energy #TheVoice." "Wendy just always comes off as stiff/slow vocally. Deafness to her eyes...#TheVoice," commented a fan. "Wendy performing is like a radio being on… and she’s the radio. She has no expression or feeling in her face ever. It’s the strangest thing. #TheVoice," pointed out a fan.
