Jenny Slate, 63, wants to enjoy her retirement while her husband Sumit, in his 30s, is ambitious about his career

While '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After' star Sumit Singh is still enjoying his 30s, his wife, on the other hand, Jenny Slaten, is a retired 63-year-old woman. With almost 30 years of age difference, it's hard for the couple to cope with each other. Recently, the couple went out for their honeymoon. While honeymoons are meant to be romantic and relaxing, it was the opposite for the couple. It led them to think about their future. Moreover, Jenny and Sumit were hit with the reality that their age gap is a major hiccup in their relationship.

Sumit is thinking to restart his business with his friend and start cooking for a living. However, the life is opposite for Jenny. She wants to live in a ‘retired way’. She is shocked after listening to Sumit’s plan and his ambition of investing six days a week in his work. Jenny says, "You’re my husband and we need to be together more than just one day a week’. The 63-year-old star thinks that she has sacrificed way too much for Sumit. And, she hasn’t done all this just to come to India and be alone while her husband works vigorously. Well, fans immediately quoted this to be the reason why one should "never marry someone so much younger".

Did Sumit think only about his fun while planning for his and Jenny’s honeymoon? Fans think so. One of ’90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After’ joked about Sumit’s honeymoon plans, saying, ‘Sumit planning a honeymoon for Jenny that includes bungee jumping, cliff jumping, river rafting, zip-lining, hiking, & camping... is he trying to kill her off?’. Well, others in line joked about Jenny being young in spirit but definitely old as per her body. ‘She can’t be doing all that s**t now lol’, comments a fan. Another fan comments quoting the differences to be the reason ‘I’d never marry someone so much younger. I want my retirement age to be my retirement age. Not his prime.’

A few fans were to be seen on Jenny’s side in her stalling marriage, while, a few continued to justify Sumit’s stand. One comments, ‘Now Jenny is trying to drag Sumit to the US. She’s just trying to separate him from his family’. Is she really trying to do so? Well, Jenny thinks that she made a lot of sacrifices to be there with Sumit. She came all the way to India, leaving her comfort and culture behind. Jenny even made a lot of effort to adjust to Sumit’s family and life. However, now all she wants is a little peace and stability in her life. Well, that clearly is not Sumit’s goal.
