LOS ANGELS, CALIFORNIA: After seven successful seasons, ABC's beloved series 'Good Doctor' has finally decided to wrap up, leaving viewers feeling sentimental.

The series, which premiered on September 25, 2017,  follows a brilliant surgeon Dr Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) with autism and exceptional memory and visual perception skills yet struggles with interpersonal interactions.

Following seven gripping seasons of enthralling viewers, the cast of this popular drama is bidding farewell through heartfelt Instagram posts.

Cast members of 'Good Doctor' share their emotional goodbyes

On Thursday, April 4, Fiona Gubelmann, who portrays Dr Morgan Reznick in the show, took to Instagram to share a photo of the entire ensemble along with an emotional caption on Instagram, saying, "I can’t believe we only have 3 days left of filming 😭 I love my good doctor family and feel so grateful for everything 🩷 @thegooddoctorabc #thegooddoctor 📸 @jeffweddell."

Gubelmann, who initially had recurring appearances in the first season but secured a permanent spot in the second, shared a photo of her first day on the show alongside the caption, "From my first day on set to now my last. The journey has been life changing. I’ve loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone involved in The Good Doctor for everything Photos1. First day on set 2. First episode script 3. First time in scrubs 4. Audition breakdown 5. Beautiful tree I saw on my walk towards the audition @thegooddoctorabc  #thegooddoctor #parnick"."

Sharing the photo with Christina Chang and Will Yun Lee, Gubelmann, remarked, "Love these two 🩷."

While Will Yun Lee posted a picture with Gubelmann with the caption, "Our last press together for @thegooddoctorabc 💔❤️ A beautiful 7 Season ride with @fionagubelmann."

He also posted a picture with his hairdresser and said, "Going to miss this gem of a human who has done my hair for many seasons!! Thank you Lauren!!!!"

Christina Chang, who portrays Dr Audrey Lim on the show, uploaded a photo of herself on her very first day of the show with the caption, "Day 1 as Dr. Audrey Lim📸 September 2017. On the eve of our final day of filming, flooded with so many memories. Thankful for The Good Cast + The Good Crew + The Good Fans 💙 7 years x 126 episodes, let’s finish strong 💪🏽."

Additionally, Chang shared a picture with Lee with the caption, "This was the first picture we took on the set of @thegooddoctorabc back in Season 1. As we head into filming our final episode, I can’t help but notice the guy to my left hasn’t aged a day! Happy Birthday @willyunlee - wishing you the best adventure yet this year! You’re my brother forever, you’re stuck with me now."

Fans are left sentimental after the wrap-up news of 'Good Doctor'

An emotional fan left a comment on Gubelmann's photo, describing Morgon as her favorite character, "You played Morgan so perfectly, I'm sad we're already at the final season. Thank you for giving us your amazing performance. I will remember Morgan forever. Morgan is an amazing character and in my first year of university I included her in my English project. I will wait for your new show. I love you so much Fiona💖. I want to cry."

Another expressed their appreciation to Gubelmann for her skillful portrayal stating, "You are amazing @fionagubelmann. Thank you for giving so much to this show and for giving us Morgan.

Leaving a sentimental comment on Christina Chang's Instagram post, a fan expressed disappointment, saying, "I still do not understand why the show has been cancelled! The decision is so wrong. We need more!"

Meanwhile, another added, "It's SUCH a pity that The Good Doctor is coming to an end! It's my favorite TV medical drama!"

A different fan expressed their emotional refusal to accept the drama's conclusion in a comment on Lee's picture and said, "I refuse to accept that The Good Doctor is going to end."
