Is Rudy Giuliani under Jack in the Box costume? Here's why 'The Masked Singer' fans think so

Despite threats of boycotting 'The Masked Singer', fans continued to tune in regularly hoping to watch Rudy Giuliani's performance and his unmasking

Who doesn't love putting on their thinking hats and playing sleuth while trying to figure out which celebrity is hiding underneath the elaborate costumes on 'The Masked SInger'? So, when the hit FOX show was all set to make a comeback with its much-awaited season 7, the new season already began making headlines even before its premiere. 

After the news of former President Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani being unmasked during the show's taping and according to reports he was the first celebrity to be unmasked during the season. His unmasking led to the show's judges- Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke storming off the stage in protest, while the other judges' Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage. Though the show received a lot of backlash for picking someone as controversial as Giuliani to be featured on the light-hearted singing competition show, it also piqued the curiosity of fans. Despite threats of boycotting the FOX show, week after week fans continued to tune in hoping to watch Giuliani's performance and the subsequent unmasking.

Is Rudy Giuliani Jack in the Box on 'The Masked Singer'?

Since multiple reports revealed that Giuliani was the first celebrity to be unmasked, fans immediately assumed that his unmasking would be featured on the season's premiere episode. Unfortunately, the showrunners seem to have changed the plans as the premiere episode's unmasking witnessed celebrity pastry chef Duff Goldman emerging from the McTerrier's mask. Fans waited patiently for Group B's turn to see if the disgraced attorney would be unmasked then, but there was no sign of Giuliani amongst the Group B's members either. With only Group C left to make their big debut on the upcoming episode of 'The Masked Singer', fans are convinced that one of the members from Group C has to be Giuliani. 

Group C features Baby Mammoth, Jack in the Box, Prince, Queen Cobra, and Space Bunny. Based on the promotional clips and clues released by the FOX show, fans concluded that Team Bad's Jack in the Box might be none other than Giuliani. One of the biggest giveaways was how Jack in the Box costume was noticeably absent from all of the show's promotional content. Even the promotional footage introducing the members of Team Bad saw Jack in the Box costume missing from the clip. Also, Baby Mammoth and Queen Cobra were ruled out since the clips revealed that they were female celebrities. While Space Bunny's performance clip featured a distinct islander accent, which Giuliani obviously doesn't have. This leaves us with the Prince and Jack in the Box. But after watching Prince's performance in a promotional clip where he showcased some high-energy dance moves and smooth vocals, fans were further convinced that Giuliani had to be Jack in the Box, considering his age wouldn't allow him to do acrobatic dance moves that the Prince showed off. 

A fan tweeted, "So there’s been no signs of Rudy Giuliani yet at all, I’m guessing he’s the Jack-in-the-Box. If not then he’s definitely not on the season lol. #TheMaskedSinger." "Why do I get the feeling that Rudy is jack in the box? #TheMaskedSinger," wrote a fan. "For those wondering where Rudy Giuliani is at so far, Keep in mind they film two seasons per year around the same time, so it's possible he COULD show up during this one (I think he's the Jack in the Box), but he may pop up until the next one later this year.... #TheMaskedSinger," speculated a fan.

While other fans were simply excited to watch Giuliani's unmasking on the FOX show. A fan shared, "Just letting Twitter know that tomorrow is very likely to be Rudy Giuliani night on The Masked Singer..." "If Jack-In-The-Box ends up being Rudy I'm going to be so upset. I was so excited ,but at this point I do think Armadillo is Dog The Bounty Hunter, which means there's no one else he could be (sigh) #maskedsinger #themaskedsinger," commented a fan. "Gotta hand it to Fox for airing Rudy Giuliani’s episode on 4/20 . #TheMaskedSinger," joked a fan.

Though it seems highly likely that Rudy Giuliani is Jack in the Box, we will have to wait until the unmasking to see whether it is indeed him or not. We can't wait to watch Giuliani's unmasking.
