‘Power Book IV: Force’ has undoubtedly one of the most well-made shows in recent times and continues to get better with each episode. The latest episode of the STARZ crime drama saw Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and Claudia Flynn (Lili Simmons) finally getting the breakthrough they needed with the new drug, Dahlia.
They were doing everything to successfully cut the drug and guess what, they have managed to do that exactly that. The newest drug in the market is ready to take everyone by storm and Tommy, along with Claudia, is the sole provider of the drug. The situation makes them the new leaders of the drug business in Chicago, however, Claudia’s father Walter Flynn wouldn’t be happy to see his daughter working with Tommy.

Things are getting really interesting now and fans can’t wait to see what happens in the next set of episodes. However, reports suggest that the show is going on a hiatus for a while and won’t be airing a new episode for a couple of weeks. Are these reports true? Is ‘Power Book IV: Force’ going on a break?
First things first, the show will definitely air a new episode next week. However, there will be no new episode in the first week of April. The STARZ crime drama will be airing the eighth episode of Season 1 on Sunday, March 27, at 8 pm EST. Meanwhile, the ninth episode of the series will be premiering exclusively on April 10th.
If you haven’t been able to watch the previous episodes, then you have a chance to catch up as the network will show all 8 episodes on April 3.
The reason for this hiatus is currently unknown, but it seems the makers want viewers to give a recap of what all has happened in this season before the final two episodes arrive in April.
What can we expect from ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Episode 8?
The upcoming episode will see Tommy making it clear to his team that they need a new cook. Well, it makes sense because people are turning up in large numbers for Dahlia and if they need to ramp up the production of the drug, then they need to have enough man-power as well.
Also, a familiar face with also return and it is none other than 2-Bit. He is one of the familiar faces in the ‘Power’ universe and only one of the few people Tommy knows he can trust without any doubts.
But things aren’t going to be that easy for Tommy and his team because he still has a lot of people after him. For instance, Walter Flynn is annoyed that he took out two of his mean, and on the other hand, the entire Russian mob is also looking out for him. So, if they need their business to grow, they would have to go up against some of the biggest and most dangerous players in the game.
