Niall Horan mimics Blake Shelton

On Monday, April 3, NBC dropped a video titled, "One Last Ride: Blake Shelton's Final Season." The title of 'The Voice's fake biopic had Niall instead of Blake in the background. Furthermore, Niall is seen enacting the country singer's reaction to Grace West's blind audition in a near-perfect way. He says, "I’ve got somethin’ to say to Grace: People of America are gon’ love you. I would be honored to have you on the last Team Blake." In order to make the video sound real, it introduced other coaches as well, Kelly Clarkson and Chance the Rapper.

Towards the end of the parody, Blake appears and praises Niall for impersonating him in the most perfect way. He said, "I do think Niall does a great impression of me, I gotta say. He’s got the accent down pretty well, but he’s got the words down perfectly. I’m kind of enjoying having this mini-me here, it’s flattering."

'Niall understood the assignment'

After watching the faux trailer, a fan tweeted, "Will @NiallOfficial be taking @blakeshelton chair on The Voice next season of @NBCTheVoice ?" Another appreciated Niall's acting, saying, "Niall understood the assignment. He’s the best addition in years. Hope he stays and becomes the new Blake." "@NiallOfficial #TheVoice Loose the "L's" and we share the same name. Need I say more? You are amazing at Blake's accent. Keep that going and maybe you could officially play Blake's son," tweeted another. Moreover, a fan hoped, "@NiallOfficial #TheVoice I hope you take over Blake’s chair." While another claimed, "Little mini Blake you should take his place@NiallOfficial."
